A slow-onset evening body strain that helped my back, anxiety and sleep. Butter, tar and faint grape fizz were interesting, but this batch’s cure and condition held it back.

Flavour and aroma
Butter and tar-like notes, faint sweet liquorice and an unusual, suppressed grape fizz. It balanced out with time but never became very defined.
What I noticed
Strong indica/body effects with mental clarity and a slow onset. It became sedating with more used.
What I noticed it helping with
Insomnia, body and back pain, and anxiety in my experience.
When it fitted my day
Early evening through night-time.
This batch and its downsides
Resinous, but the cure and condition disappointed me. I kept it for weeks without much improvement. I suspected a moisture issue, but did not confirm or test it.
Would I choose this batch again?
No. No to this Herdade das Barrocas batch. I would still be interested in these genetics from another grower, but there were better options for me.
